LFL-SRC engagement at the Community level together with Authorities
Following the information we received through the Divisional Child Development Committee and CRPO (Child Rights Promoting Officer) our project staff visited a child who has been living with many difficulties and low basic needs. We notice issues in the protection, nutrition, and well-being of the child. Based on the information collected by our staff together with the CRPO of the Walallavita Divisional Secretariat, LFL-SRC is now looking forward to helping this child. It is important to strengthen the Community-Based Child Protection System which can address these sorts of issues and facilitate children to access required services and support to fulfil their basic needs as well as essential materials for education, protection, and survival. |
