Trelleborg AB - Malmo, Sweden (From 2013 to 2023)
Trelleborg is the "World Leader" in engineered polymer solutions that seal, damp and protect critical applications in demanding environments. Trelleborg had its own factory facility in Sri Lanka as well (Trelleborg Lanka) and later in 2022-2023 the ownership has been changed to Yokohama company following the Trelleborg AB sold out heir Wheel System to Yokohama. Trelleborg AB was the funding partner for "Star for Life Sri Lanka" programme at Kelani National College (Gampaha District) and Bellana National College (Kalutara District) in Western Province of Sri Lanka. From 2013, when Learning for Life-SRC established, we had a continues strong partnership with Trelleborg AB in Sweden until the end of 2023 under their CSR perspectives and due to the fact that Trelleborg AB has no operations in Sri Lanka after 2023, they ceased their CSR Operation in the country. |
Ascentic Pvt. Ltd - Colombo, Sri Lanka
Ascentic was founded 2017 by two Swedes in Colombo, with the mission to help Swedish businesses find the IT competence they need while building the best workplace in Sri Lanka. Ascentic has approached LFL-SRC in later 2022 and had a discussion with our senior management. That discussions stepped to start a new partnership between two entities and looking for more child focussed support through Ascentic CSR intervention since 2023. The kick-off of the partnership between Ascentic and LFL-SRC started in January 2023 with support for all pupils (113) at WP/MT/Katugahahena Kanishta Vidyalaya. We keep close contact with Ascentic and are planning to get engaged with Community Based Child Protection projects. |
