- Childhood Nutritional Awareness Project -
Nutritional for Life concept is implement as a introductory pilot concept for school students.
Most of the pupils attend school without their breakfast and usually there are group of students who do not bring the snack or meal packet for the school interval time at 10:30am. This has been considerably negatively effect for the less concentration in education, law in progress, Mal-nutritional conditions, short temper and many other side issues within the school community.
Learning for Life-S.R.C. started pilot project at WP/KE/Kelani College to support identified 50 students with morning meal pack. The project was started since 2015.
This project is funded by two private individuals (Ms. Nomi & Ms. Therese) in Sweden join hand with SLBV.
By now, the project is facilitating 75 identified students including 32 girls and boys in Primary sections and 43 girls and boys from grade 6-13.
We invite more private individuals to contribute this project to be expanded and giving direct benefit for the children especially under 5% of admin cost.
